The manor farm is an extraordinary departure and arrival point for all kinds of outings. It is a welcoming and pleasant place for visitors passing through Puglia, as well as for visitors who wish to stay longer and discover the beauty of this region.
The agritourism resort is in Rutigliano, south east of Bari, a traditional village, in area covered with vineyards and overhanging ‘tendoni’. The surrounding countryside has gentle hills and, east and west, are two “lame”, two gorges that create the strip of land the little medieval town is built on.

Rutigliano, like many other little towns in the area south east of Bari, offers visitors the chance to discover the beauty of this land, its history and culture.
- the interesting archaeological site bigetti, known for the vases buried in its necropolis, which dates back to some time between the VII and the IV century B.C.
- the 34-metre Byzantine-Norman tower with a square base (8.3 metres per side); the old town with charming little streets and alley and the white houses built in the local style, with layers of flaking plaster that betray their age, as well as mansion houses belonging to rich families (Antonelli, De Franceschis, Pappalepore, dei Diamanti). They were all built between 1600 and 1800.
Skilled potters shape excellent clay to produce “figuli”, precious terracotta vases and pots that increase the taste of food. If used for cooking, they will give all dishes a slightly old-fashioned taste.
Visitors will be amazed by the beauty of the harsh yet gentle countryside, with its gentle hills, sunny stony plains which stretch out towards the horizon and down to the sea.
The water is crystal clear and sandy beaches make way to the spectacular cliffs of  Bari, Torre a Mare, Polignano a mare, Monopoli, white Ostuni, the splendid Valle d’Itria and Grotte di Castellana [caves], the trulli (round houses) of Alberobello, Locorotondo, Cisternino. All these towns and areas are attractive, with rocks and little stone walls scattered all over the countryside. Little white houses can be seen in the wild landscape.
Norman castles and towers, medieval mysteries and timeless beauty, spectacular basilicas, country churches are but a few of the destinations tourists can visit.
